Welcome to our new Tax 2.0 site. I have worked in tax for 30 years and am very excited about what is now available to our tax departments. Although my career has been successful, at times I have struggled as a result of limited resources (e.g., dollars, staff, cooperation, literacy, etc.). Our new environment will give us access to one another, bring our tax community closer together, and empower us to gain greater literacy and resources in a very effective and efficient way. It will have a positive impact on each of us and our tax teams, as well as our companies.
I encourage you and your team to join us and begin taking advantage of all that our site has to offer; particularly, the Total Tax Transformation toolset. Use our 2.0 community to bring greater awareness of how your tax department is operating and empower you to choose specific opportunities to raise your level of performance where you deem appropriate.
Please share your expertise and experience by commenting, participating, and contributing. The Total Tax Transformation Roadmap and Scorecard are two areas, in particular, where you can share your voice with over 300 tax professionals who have already participated.
In addition, please encourage your contacts in other tax departments to join us, whether during the beta testing period over the summer, or once we formally launch in the fall. The more tax departments we have participating, the richer the feedback and the more likely we will all be to find real peer firms.
